What is RTT® ?
Rapid Transformational Therapy® (RTT) is an approach developed by Marisa Peer that combines hypnotherapy, guided imagery, subconscious exploration, and practical reframing techniques.
RTT is designed to help uncover the root of long-standing emotional or behavioral patterns and create new, more supportive neural associations.
While insight is important, RTT also emphasizes reinforcement and integration. Following a session, clients receive a personalized recording designed to support the subconscious mind in strengthening new beliefs and perspectives over time.
Every individual’s experience is unique, and results can vary depending on the issue being explored, readiness for change, and engagement with the process.
What is hypnotherapy?Hypnotherapy is a focused, collaborative process that works with the subconscious mind—the part of us where long-standing beliefs, emotional patterns, and automatic responses are held.
In a hypnotherapy session, you are gently guided into a deeply relaxed yet alert state (often similar to daydreaming or becoming absorbed in a book or film). From this state, the subconscious mind becomes more accessible, allowing us to explore where certain patterns began and to reframe them in a way that feels aligned with who you are now.
Unlike traditional talk therapy, hypnotherapy does not rely on repeated problem analysis. Instead, it helps identify and release outdated beliefs—often formed earlier in life—that may no longer serve you, and replace them with more supportive, realistic perspectives.
You remain fully aware, in control, and able to speak throughout the session. Hypnosis is not sleep, mind control, or loss of consciousness. It is a natural state of focused attention that most people move in and out of daily.
My approach is informed by Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), which integrates hypnotherapy, guided imagery, and reflective insight to support meaningful, lasting change—particularly around confidence, self-worth, identity transitions, and emotional patterns that feel “stuck.”
Hypnotherapy is best understood as a process of recalibration rather than reinvention—helping you loosen what no longer fits and reconnect with an internal sense of coherence and self-trust
What is hypnotherapy NOT?Hypnotherapy is often misunderstood. To clarify, here are a few important distinctions:
Hypnotherapy is not mind control. You cannot be made to do, say, or believe anything that goes against your values. You remain aware, present, and in control throughout the session.
Hypnotherapy is not sleep or unconsciousness. Although deeply relaxing, hypnosis is a state of focused awareness—not being “out” or unaware. Many people remember the session clearly.
Hypnotherapy is not entertainment or stage hypnosis. Therapeutic hypnosis is very different from what is portrayed on stage or in the media. There are no tricks, performances, or loss of dignity involved.
Hypnotherapy is not about bypassing emotions or forcing positivity. The work is not about suppressing feelings or “thinking happy thoughts.” It creates space to understand and gently reframe emotional patterns in a way that feels respectful and integrated.
Hypnotherapy is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care. While it can be a powerful supportive modality, it does not diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions and is not a replacement for care from licensed healthcare or mental health professionals.
Hypnotherapy is not a passive process. Meaningful change happens through your participation, insight, and willingness to engage with the process. It is something we do together, not something done to you.
