Policies

    • Payment is required in full at the time of booking in order to reserve your session.

    • All payments are securely processed through Stripe.

    • Because session times are reserved specifically for each client, all purchases, packages, and session fees are non-refundable.

    • Unused sessions within a package are non-refundable and non-transferable.

    • Sessions and packages may not be shared between individuals.

    • Clients purchasing multi-session packages are responsible for completing sessions within a mutually agreed upon timeframe unless otherwise arranged.

    • At Lokahi Hypnotherapy, sessions are conducted in a supportive, respectful, and confidential environment intended to foster emotional safety, insight, and personal growth.

    • All personal information shared during sessions is treated with discretion and confidentiality to the fullest extent appropriate for a coaching and hypnotherapy setting.

    Please note the following important disclosures:

    • Hypnotherapy services are educational, transformational, and wellness-oriented in nature and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure medical or mental health conditions.

    • Participation in hypnotherapy services does not establish a medical provider-patient relationship.

    • Services provided through Lokahi Hypnotherapy are separate from medical care, nursing services, psychotherapy, counseling, psychiatric treatment, or crisis intervention services.

    • Clients are encouraged to maintain ongoing relationships with their licensed healthcare and mental health providers as appropriate.

    • Lokahi Hypnotherapy does not provide emergency medical or psychiatric services. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please call 911 or seek immediate assistance from a licensed emergency or mental health provider.

    • Services may not be appropriate for individuals experiencing severe psychiatric conditions, active psychosis, suicidal ideation, or untreated substance use disorders.

    • Individual results vary. No specific outcomes, behavioral changes, or therapeutic results can be guaranteed.

    • Clients acknowledge that their participation, openness, consistency, and willingness to engage in the process are important factors in the effectiveness of hypnotherapy work.

    • Sessions are intended for adults age 18 and older.

    • Lokahi Hypnotherapy provides virtual sessions through electronic communication platforms.

    • By participating in virtual sessions, clients acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with technology-based communication, including possible interruptions, unauthorized access, technical difficulties, or transmission failures beyond the practitioner’s control.

    • Clients are responsible for ensuring they have access to a quiet, private environment with reliable internet connectivity for their sessions.

    • Clients participating from outside the State of Hawaiʻi are responsible for ensuring that participation in hypnotherapy services is permitted within their local jurisdiction. Lokahi Hypnotherapy reserves the right to decline or discontinue services based on legal, ethical, or scope-of-practice considerations.

    • Personalized hypnosis recordings and session materials may be provided following sessions to support reinforcement and integration.

    • All recordings, session materials, hypnosis content, and related resources remain the intellectual property of Lokahi Hypnotherapy and are licensed to the client for personal use only.

    • These materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, shared, sold, published, or used commercially without prior written permission.

    • These services and policies shall be governed in accordance with the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi.

    • By booking or participating in services, clients acknowledge understanding and acceptance of these policies and terms.
